My name is Hery. I was born in Senaru, located north of Lombok, specifically at the base of Mount Rinjani, which currently serves as the official main route and the closest hiking path to the crater rim of Senaru and Segara Anak Lake.

As a Senaru, my hobby is being an adventurer, and my main job since 2010 has been as a guide to Mount Rinjani. I enjoy this job because it allows me to make friends with people from all over the world while earning a decent income.

Having had enough experience as a guide, I now own a new business that opened in 2016: a travel agent named Hery Trekker located in the main route to Mount Rinjani in Senaru village, North Lombok, Indonesia.

The main purpose of setting up this effort is not just to earn income as a guide but also to regenerate the guides in our village, because there’s been a lot of young guides to replace me as a guide, and of course now I prefer to concentrate on looking for the climbers from all over the world who came to Mount Rinjani through our travel agency.

As a travel agency, we are committed to preserving the natural beauty of Mount Rinjani, a tourist attraction that generates significant revenue for us. We will consistently uphold the quality of service we offer to climbers, ensuring they are satisfied with the natural beauty of the mountain. We will ensure the climb adheres to safety standards for all our clients.
